The registration for my prior photography website (stevelikens.com) lapsed due to procrastination on my part. A squatter then snatched up the domain name and offered to sell it back to me for a not-so-small fee. Fortunately, stevelikens.me was available and here I am.
The old site had two static galleries - "Musicians" and "Not Musicians." The current format - a weekly, themed blog post - seems to work better. Having said that, I could not come up with a theme for the following collection of "not musician" photos other than, "These Photos Were Featured On My Old Website And I Think They Should Be On The New One As Well." So, here goes:

The courtyard of the Shack-Up Inn, our home away from home while in Clarksdale.

A transport on the Pacific Ocean off the Port of Los Angeles.

The helicopter from which I took the photo of the transport on the Pacific Ocean.

The reflecting pool at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona.

Soulsville USA. The Stax studio and label founded by siblings Jim Stewart and Estelle Axton in Memphis, Tennessee, was the recording home of Booker T & The MGs, Otis Redding, The Bar-Kays, Isaac Hayes, Sam & Dave, Rufus and Carla Thomas, The Staple Singers, Big Star, Eddie Floyd and William Bell, among others.

The Point Vincente lighthouse in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, has been guiding ships through the Catalina Channel since May 1, 1926. Catalina Island is in the background.

Two of Mrs. L's equine children, Rocket and Maddie, in the pasture on a foggy Tate County morning.

A series of earthquakes along the New Madrid Fault in 1811-12 caused the Mississippi River to flow backwards, forming Reelfoot Lake in northwest Tennessee.

Clarksdale, Mississippi - outside the Delta Blues Alley Cafe the morning after.

The approach to the Port of Los Angeles from the Vincent Thomas Bridge southbound on the Hwy 47 Seaside Freeway.

Robert's Grove on Placencia Beach in Stann Creek, Belize.

The "Plus One": Coffee on the front porch in French Camp Village, Mississippi. (Not on the old site)
Bonus points for noticing the "chair" sub-theme going on in four of the last five photos.
Thanks for stopping by.
