Lukas Nelson brought his band, Promise of the Real, to Minglewood Hall in Memphis on October 25, 2023.

I previously saw Lukas and the boys serving as Neil Young's band on the first night of the 2016 Beale St. Music Festival - known far and wide for their 36 minute version of "Down by River" that opened the set.

Per the band's management, the show was a "no pit" shoot. Everything had to be taken from the fringes of the crowd or the front of house console - so you'll see silhouettes of a head or two in every photo.
